Alumni Project
A High-Performance Data Grid Toolkit: Enabling Technology for Wide Area Data-Intensive Applications
The project includes research on new protocols for large-scale transfers over high-speed networks, end-to-end resource allocation for such transfers, and the creation and management of replicated repositories. This middleware effort supports applications using large-scale data movement and has close connections with other SciDAC projects as well as other DOE applications in both simulation science and experimental science.
