Sandia National Laboratories

Bruce Hendrickson is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Discrete Algorithms & Math Department at Sandia National Laboratories. He is also a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at the University of New Mexico. In his 15 years at Sandia, Bruce has worked on software and algorithms for a wide range of high performance computing applications. Much of this work has involved graph algorithms and other combinatorial kernels, which led Bruce (with Alex Pothen) to co-found the Combinatorial Scientific Computing community. Bruce received his PhD in Computer Science from Cornell, after obtaining degrees in Mathematics and Physics from Brown. He is the author of over 80 scientific papers and has served on the editorial boards of a range of journals in parallel and scientific computing.
