Dan Meiron is currently Professor of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Caltech. He received his ScD in applied mathematics from MIT in 1981. He currently serves as the PI for the Center for the Simulation of Dynamic Response of Materials, a multidisciplinary research project sponsored by the ASC Alliance program. His interests include computational fluid dynamics and computational materials science.
