Instructions for Conference Poster Presenters
Electronic copies will be posted (linked from List of Posters), as they are made available. Please send electronic copies of posters to Daniel Pack (or bring a copy on a CD to the conference). You may use jpeg or pdf formats for the electronic copy. (The electronic copy is only for posting on the web; you are responsible for printing your own poster and bringing it to the conference for display.)
For best results in sending electronic copies, use the ORNL file upload system (send files to packdl@ornl.gov)
| Shipping Instructions for Posters If you are shipping your poster to the hotel, here is the address to use: Westin Copley Place Hotel 10 Huntington Ave Boston, MA 02116 put "For SciDAC Conference" and send it care of YOUR PRESENTER (IF they are a guest at the hotel). Otherwise send it care of Angie Beach. |
Poster Size
Each poster will have a 4' x 4' space on a shared 8' x 4' freestanding bulletin board. Small tables (suitable for holding a notebook computer) will be available. Velcro and push pins will be provided.
Poster sessions will be held Tuesday and Wednesday evenings (different posters on each night). Because these sessions follow a generous dinner break, only light hors d'oeurves will be served. Poster presenters are expected to be present and available for discussion during the entire evening session.
Poster Papers
Poster presenters are expected to provide a 5 page paper for the conference proceedings. These will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee and published both in hardcover and online, counting as an invited and peer-reviewed/referreed paper.
DEADLINES:- May 15: We need the official TITLE of your talk or poster by May 15 in order to include it in the printed program.
- June 25: PAPERS are due June 25 (or when you arrive at the conference).
- July 16: Final revisions (after comments from reviewers) are due July 16.
